11/12/2019 12:00 pm  - 1:00 pm Middlefield Chamber of Commerce Meeting You will not want to miss this meeting, important and interesting. Doors Open At 11:45 am. Important to RSVP by November 5th 5:00 pm, 440-632-5705 or Meeting/Gathering is Tuesday, November 12, 2019 meeting starts at Noon in the Middlefield VFW, right next to the Post Office in Middlefield. Our Speaker is Veteran Jim Warren, he will share his experiences as an Honor Flight participant after his name was submitted by the Burton American Legion. The mission of Honor Flight Cleveland is to fly veterans to Washington, D.C. for free to see their memorials. The members of the Honor Flight Network are all volunteers. All expenses are covered by donations. Each veteran is escorted by a volunteer Guardian.. Lunch will be catered, Cost is $10. Pay at the door with check or cash. Please bring canned food and paper products, light bulbs etc. for the Veterans in Need Foundation. RSVP 440-632-5705 or
11/29/2019 7:30 pm  - 8:30 pm After Village of Middlefield Tree Lighting-Stop in Olde Towne Grille Village of Middlefield Tree Lighting is November 29th, the evening after Thanksgiving. Have Fun at the Tree Lighting in the Mini Park at the center of the Village, and then stop in to have soft drinks and some appetizers, hosted by the Middlefield Chamber of Commerce. Sit and visit, and if you are not a member of the Middlefield Chamber yet, ask about becoming a member.

12/14/2019 8:00 am - 7:30 PM Merry Middlefield - A Grinch Steals Christmas Donate unwrapped, new toys at Members of the Middlefield Chamber Businesses and Stores with "Toy Drop Location" signs posted. Toys donated will go to Santa's Hideaway Hollow in Middlefield and to Toys for Tots through Best Funeral Home, Middlefield. Bring your whole family to meet the Grinch, Max and Cindy Lou Who. While the supply lasts, get a book from the Grinch, signed by the Grinch at the Cardinal High School Multi Purpose Room from Noon to 1:30 pm December 14th. Books donated by East Geauga Friends of the Library. Enter Cardinal High School through the Main Doors by the Office, East Geauga Kiwanis Club will have a Pancake Breakfast from 8am to 1:00 pm with visits through the morning from the Grinch, Max and Cindy Lou Who. Stay to meet the Grinch and get an autographed book, one per family while the supply lasts. Come to the Grinch Craft Show inside the High School Hallways, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, meet our local crafters and vendors, and members of the Middlefield Chamber. At the Craft show, you can enter a free drawing from the Chamber for a Sweet Grinch Ornament, winning ticket will be drawn on December 15th. At 6pm, hear the Grinch perform his story inside Great Lakes Outdoor Supply from the balcony inside the store. Santa will be there at 6:30 pm. Watch for the Coloring Contest in the Middlefield Post, prizes to winners of the coloring contest categories are donated by Gold Key Processing, Middlefield. Sponsors of Merry Middlefield: Geauga Vision, Cardinal Local School, East Geauga Friends of the Library, Middlefield Post Newspaper, Watsons 87 Furniture, Great Lakes Outdoor Supply, Village of Middlefield providing Fireworks to end the days events, RadioActive Electronics, Living Well Massage and Body Work, Burton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, Studio for Hair, (more to come). Watch for our Middlefield and Area businesses to have drawings, sales, specials and other activities on this day, and throughout the Christmas Season.
